3 Ways To Keep Boards Under Control During Laminations
One of THE most frustrating things that can happen when face laminating wooden boards is when they start slipping around due to the “lubrication” effect caused by the glue and it most often happens just as you apply pressure to the clamps! In Part 3 of our hand plane build I start bringing pieces back together, manage slippage during the glue up and get reminded that I need more clamps! I get into mouth openings a bit before I finish off by opening up the mouth to let the blade through.
